The Swim In – Event History

In 2015, Blair and Craig Olsen took their amphibious vehicles for a swim in the Williams River. That simple outing sparked a movement. By 2016, the first official Clarence Town Swim In was born.

Since then, the event has grown into a national gathering of military vehicle owners and enthusiasts, drawing crowds from across Australia.

Celebrating 10 Years of Camaraderie

  • 2023: Over 90 military vehicles in the parade
  • 2024: “Year of the Bren Gun Carrier” – 18 carriers set a national record
  • 2025: “Year of the Amphibious Vehicle” – Honouring our founders and the spirit of adventure
